    About us

The summer language program FLY Junior appears as a natural first step for every child looking to learn French or English. FLY Junior offers, since 2001, traditional language immersion experiences at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, a very well known private institution founded in 1928. Only 10 minutes away from downtown Montreal, our campus takes advantage of its strategic geographical position to give students a taste of Quebecers joie de vivre. Every summer, FLY Junior offers a unique urban language camp. In sum, the Brébeuf language school guarantees a high-quality linguistic experience and a vast open-mindedness, which are both ideal for allowing students to make new friends coming from all over the world.

    FLY…for higher learning!

    Our students

Our international students come to Montreal to learn French, English or Spanish. Conceived for students aged between 9 and 12 years old, our summer camp program stands out thanks to the inclusion of immersion and trilingual communication activities in its curriculum, offered in a safe and amusing environment. Throughout the years, FLY Experience has offered language courses in Montreal to students coming from, among others, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Dubai, England, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Portugal, Peru, Puerto Rico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey and the United States of America.

    Our language school

Our French or English immersion program FLY Junior offers its students, aged 9 to 12 years old, a safe, enjoyable and warm learning environment helping them develop and acquire:

    • Sound competencies to communicate in French or English
    • A broader understanding of the Quebecois and Canadian culture
    • Open mindedness towards different languages, nationalities and religions

Students will receive 15 hours of formal instruction and pedagogical activities per week. French or English classes are offered at different levels. Upon their arrival, students will complete a placement test, which they will submit to our personnel. Our instructors place the student at the center of their educational strategy and privilege a dynamic and communicative approach, with the help of state-of-the art documents and technological education materials. Our instructors also hold both a license delivered by the Quebec Department of Education and extensive working experience in the teaching of second languages.

Of course, the inclusion of leisure and artistic trilingual activities of all sorts within our curriculum allows the student to perfectly integrate the knowledge acquired in class. FLY Experience’s students will attend language courses in French or English in Montreal, at Collége Jean-de-Brébeuf. Our teachers will also take advantage of a state-of-the-art laboratory for language teaching.

The average is of 12 students per class.

    Our excursions

Our summer language immersion program FLY Junior prides itself on including in its curriculum the most popular excursions and educational outings in Quebec and Montreal. These excursions will allow our students to get acquainted with the main surrounding touristic destinations. We truly believe that taking part in these activities will enhance the performance of the student when describing, in French or English, the geographical and cultural particularities of the Montreal region.

Weekly participation to our English or French camp includes:

    • 1 full-day cultural excursion (Ex. Guided visit to Ottawa)
    • 1 full-day educational excursion (Ex. Montreal Biodôme)
    • 1 dinner at a traditional restaurant on Côte-des-Neiges street
    • 1 half-day language immersion excursion (Ex. St-Joseph Oratory)

*** A Day-Camp formula is also available for Montreal families (Monday to Friday – with or without excursions).

    Optional activities:

Students will also have the chance to sign up for other interesting events, such as the cinema, the water slides, Montreal’s fireworks festival or a visit to the Granby Zoo. An amount of approximately $100 CDN per week will allow the student to participate to most of these optional activities if desired.
